- Uploading Images
- Note: Before you upload an image into your "Image Library", please make sure that your image is in a .gif or .jpeg format. When saving an image to a web ready format, the name should consist of numbers and characters only. NO SPACES and NO SPECIAL CHARACTERS SUCH AS: !@#$%^&*()+|\=-{}[]'":;?/<>.,<mailto:!@> Images will not upload or preview in the site correctly.

- once inside the application click on the insert at the top of the menu
- click on image
- click on browse at the top of the menu
- browse your computer and double-click on the image that you would like to upload
- click upload file
- the window will refresh once the image has been uploaded to the system and it will be automatically checked
- click the insert image
- the image will be placed on the page and highlighted in red so you can differentiate between other layers
- move the image into your desired position

- once inside the application click on the insert at the top of the menu
- click on image
- click on "multiple image link"
- you will be able to select from 1 -- 20 images uploaded once. Once you've made your selection on the number of images you would like to upload, then you would click the browse button for each individual image.
- click upload file
- the window will refresh once the images have been uploaded to the system and it will be automatically checked
- click the insert image
- the images will be placed on the page and highlighted
- the images will be placed onto the page stacked so you will need to move the images into place
- Deleting an Image

- click on the image that you would like to delete
- when the toolbar shows up above the image click the trashcan
- click and hold the image with your left mouse click and drag it to the desired location
- if the image is a master object or master template layer, you will need to click on the object and when the toolbar shows up click the move tool. [Objects that are master layers are always locked in position and require a deliberate move of the move icon within the toolbar]
- click on the image that you would like to shift
- the toolbar will show up above the image
- click on the shift layer icon
- a drop-down will display the amount of layers
- your layer will be represented at yellow, shift upwards or downwards until you achieve the desired location
- click on the image that you would like to stretch
- the toolbar will appear above the image
- click on the stretch tool
- the image will be highlighted in red, left click and hold the bottom right-hand corner of the image and drag to the right
- click on the image
- a toolbar will appear above the image
- click on the layer properties
- make changes and apply
- click on the image
- a toolbar will appear above the image
- click on layer properties
- change the name of the image
- apply changes
- Positioning an image object on the x and y axis?
There are two ways to move an image: the first is just to click on the image and move it to a new location by left clicking the mouse button and holding to the new position. The second as follows:
- click on the image
- a toolbar will appear above the image
- click on layer properties
- enter new coordinates for your X -- Y positions
- apply changes
NOTE: you can also click on the image and move the image pixel by pixel by using your W,A,S,D keys on your keyboard. You must have the image selected with the toolbar showing above it for this to work
Note: You are able to make images "Master Objects". A Master Object is an item that you wish to appear on your website on every page in the exact same location. If you reposition an object that is a "Master Object" it will reposition it on every page. Be very careful when repositioning master objects on your website.
- Changing Image Width and Height
There are two ways to change the dimensions of an image, the first is to use the stretch tool. For exact dimensions it is best to use the layer properties object width/height
- Click on the image
- a toolbar appears above the image
- click on layer properties
- change the dimensions of the image
- apply changes
Note: You are able to make images "Master Objects". A Master Object is an item that you wish to appear on your website on every page in the exact same location. If you edit an object that is a "Master Object" it will edit it on every page. Be very careful when editing master objects on your website.
- Making images master objects
- choose the image that you would like to have show up on every page by clicking so you see the toolbar
- click on layer properties
- choose master object from the drop down at the bottom of the window
- apply changes [remember that this will make the object show up in the same position on every page in the website]

- Making images reusable
- think of the reusable object as a clipboard storing text objects that can be used over and over again such as navigation, disclaimers, copyright notices etc.
- click on image to be made the reusable object
- go to layer properties
- select from the drop-down reusable
- now you can reinsert this image as many times as needed by going to insert, clipboard, and the text will be listed and saved in one place, you can also edit the text one time and it will change everywhere on the website that the text shows up.

- Making links using images
- click on the image
- a toolbar will show above the image
- choose layer properties
- you can make internal, external, file links, e-mail links
- apply changes

- NOTE: when using template objects such as template buttons, you will not be able to make links because you will notice that the object properties is grayed out. If you would like to make a link to a button, insert some text onto the page highlight the words and make a link and then move that text over the button.
