There are two ways to create products for your shopping cart. There has been much debate by Handzon users on which is more efficient. We will let you choose for yourself.

Let us begin by going to the page where you would like to insert your new product.

• Once you arrive at the page, click insert at the top of the menu to open the insert object window.
• On the left-hand side of the insert object window, click on "cart item". The new window will open.
• Click on "create a new product", go to the next step.
• You will now decide on the image that will represent the product. Click the radio button next to the image of the product. Click next. [If you have not uploaded an image as yet, click on the image icon on the left-hand side and upload a new image, return to the cart item once you have finished]
• Enter the product name, and any pertinent information regarding the product. Enter a regular price [as an example let's just say 20], now enter a sale price [as an example, let us say 15], there is no need for the "$". If you do not have a manufacturer stock code, in-house stock code, product weight and shipping price per unit, just leave it that blank.
• Now you will enter a product description. Within the blank area of the text window, begin typing in a description. [As an example, "This is a wonderful pair of shoes, perfect for walking"]. You will also noticed that you can change the font, color, etc. Remember this is your description for the product just before the customer purchases. It would be important to have this information be as clear as possible. Continue by clicking on product options.
• The product options - Now let us say as an example that you are selling shoes in different sizes and colors.
• Under the option name, we will choose the option of color. Begin by typing in the word "Color" and click the add button.
• You will notice that the word color has been moved to the "options for this product" section.
• Now we will input the option of "size". Begin by Typing in the word "size", then we will click the add button again. You will notice that size has also been brought down to the "options for this product" section.
   
• Entering in values for options - As size is the current option selected, we will now input values for the option "size". A value of size would be small, medium, large. So, we will input the word small within the within the "value name". Once this has been completed click the add button. You will notice that the value of small has been moved to "values for selected option". We will now continue by inputting medium under the "values name" and clicking the add button. We will follow the same steps for the value of large.
• Let us say as an example that large costs $10 more. Now that large has been selected already, you will notice that there is the "price difference for selected value". Enter the amount of 10.00 without the "$". This will give you an additional $10 for the selected option.
• Click the continue button.
• The product will now be placed onto the canvas. You can now move the product anywhere on the canvas.
• Click the preview button at the top of the menu to test your product. [You can only test your products in the preview mode]
