• If you already own a domain name, follow the steps below. (Purchased the name other than Handzon)

If you have purchased the domain name with us, you will need to go to the Handzon.com homepage. At the very top you will see the link for domain names. Please click that link and a new window will open.

At the very top of the page click on "my account".

A new window will open allowing you to enter your customer number and password. Please note, the customer number and password are completely different than the one that you use to access the Handzon application. When you purchased the domain name you were required to enter a new customer number and password. Please refer to the confirmation e-mail for details. If however you have misplaced the information, you can retrieve the password or get a password hint.

Once you are inside the control panel click on manage domain names. You'll see your domain name listed. Click the checkbox to the left of the domain name, then click on the "name servers" button at the top of the menu.

Click the checkbox "custom name servers". This will allow you to change the name server addresses to the following: nameserver 1: NS1.HANDZON.COM and nameserver 2: NS2.HANDZON.COM and once you have entered the information in click on the OK button.

Changes can take up to 48 hours. now you must go into the Handzon application by logging in.

Click on domain names, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter in the domain name without the http://www. all that is required is the domain name only i.e. yourwebsite.com once this has been completed your web site will show up within 24 to 48 hours.

Begin by going to the main menu of the application, click on the domain manager.

To add a new domain, simply type it in the field below with out the "http://www." and click the "Add" button. Once you add a domain click the "Verify WHOIS" link below to check your domain(s). If the domain DOES NOT say "GOOD" you must change your Primary and Secondary DNS(Domain Name Server) addresses to point to our DNS servers.

In order to do that you will need to set the primary and secondary DNS(Domain Name Servers) to the DNS servers listed below. Think of the DNS servers as the pointers to your Website. If you need to transfer your domain, you must contact your "domain registrar" and have them switch the DNS servers. You MUST use the DNS servers listed below:

Primary:
NS1.HANDZON.COM
66.115.63.132
Secondary:
NS2.HANDZON.COM
66.139.79.208

(THIS STEP IS REQUIRED, THIS MUST BE DONE TO ACTIVATE YOUR DOMAIN NAME WITHIN THIS APPLICATION! THE "Primary DNS" AND "Secondary DNS" MUST READ "GOOD"!)

If you would like to purchase a new domain name for you would like to transfer or backorder a domain name, you can go to the domain name section.

You can have as many names as you would like to point to your web site. [You must add each one of these names to the domain manager for them to point to your web site correctly.

First you must add the domain name, [follow the instructions above]. You must then return to the place where you registered the domain name ie. Network solutions, VeriSign, Register.com. When you first purchased the name, you were assigned a username and password, you'll need to log into your account and change the server information as follows;

Primary:
NS1.HANDZON.COM
Secondary:
NS2.HANDZON.COM

The domain name will rotate 24 to 48 hours later [depending on the efficiency of the registrant]

This means that your web site will be showing by midnight [Pacific time]. This is the natural progression for every domain name that rotates through the name servers.
